Key details of the Role
The Sport and PE Development Officer will be required to work with primary schools to improve the quality of PE & school sport by delivering appropriate training, giving advice on curriculum planning, team teaching and bespoke whole school inset, contributing to the overall CPD offer to schools. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for delivering a calendar of competitions across all key stages, including (but not limited to) a range of School Games events as well as inclusive and participation based sports festivals. They will have responsibility for all aspects of planning, organisation and delivery for the above including sourcing venues and training appropriate leaders and officials where needed.

Salary Grade and Range:  Grade 5/6* Scale Point 13-20 (£24,903 – £28,215) *Salary is dependent on experience
Working Pattern: Contract Term Time + 3 weeks, 36 hours per week 41 working weeks + 25 days annual leave to be taken during school holidays plus 8 statutory bank holidays
