School Caretaker

Full time salary: £ £25,746 – £27,342pa, Grade 6. Scp 26 – 28

We are a popular, dynamic and outstanding CofE Primary school seeking a full time or part time permanent Caretaker.

  • Full time, split shift, 7.30am-12noon (11.45 am on a Friday) and 3pm-6pm (8am-4pm during school holidays)

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Are an experienced caretaker
    Have competent basic DIY skills
    Are knowledgeable regarding premises maintenance and Health & Safety
    Are familiar with using basic IT applications including email, excel and word
    Are a good communicator verbally and in writing
    Can build good relationships across a school community
    Are in sympathy with the ethos of our school
    Have read the job description and person specification and feel you are well suited for this role.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 27th September at 12 noon.  Shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Friday 28th September and interviews will be held on Wednesday 3rd October.  In addition to an interview there will be basic practical and IT tests.
