Temporary reception class teacher Spring Term 2026

Tenable January 2026 – April 2026

We are seeking:

To recruit a reception teacher at Whitehorse Manor Infant School, Whitehorse Road, Thornton Heath CR7 8SB. This is to cover a term’s sabbatical for the substantive class teacher

This is a temporary full-time post, but there may be an opportunity for a permanent position within our academy trust.

The successful candidate will:

Be an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with a thorough working knowledge of the EYFS;
Possess integrity and commitment, with a presence engendering confidence and respect from pupils, staff and parents;
Have a thorough knowledge of current educational thinking, initiatives, issues and matters of pedagogy;
Be committed to the highest standards of education and pastoral care for all pupils;
Be able to work effectively as part of a team including the management of teaching assistants;
Understand and display commitment to equality of opportunity.
