Salary: Level 2 TA – Grade 3 – Scale point 5 to 7, approximate pro rata salary:
£18,191 to £18,718 (£29,436 to £30,288 full time equivalent)
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, knowledgeable and dedicated individual to work with our pupils alongside the class teacher. The role will be to work in class supporting the learning in all areas of the curriculum and supervising the children at lunchtimes.
The successful candidates will:
Be committed to providing the very best learning opportunities for children in their care.
Be able to form excellent relationships with children, staff and parents.
Have experience of working in a school environment with EYFS/KS1/KS2 aged children.
Be able to maintain the Christian ethos within a culturally diverse Church of England school
Able to ensure a commitment to equality and equity within all aspects of school life
Other essential skills and abilities:
NVQ level 2 or equivalent is a minimum (higher qualifications and school experience is also desirable).
Excellent maths, literacy and IT skills.
Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of relevant school policies/codes of practice.
High standard of organisational skills, timekeeping and attendance
