Salary:             Grade 4, £30,717 to £31,611 full time

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join the premises team at Purley Oaks Primary School.

Purley Oaks is a very happy and thriving primary school. Our children are a pleasure to teach. In our previous OFSTED inspection (February 2025), the inspectors commented, ‘Pupils and staff consistently promote the school’s values of aspiration and collaboration’ and ‘Pupils behave exceptionally well in lessons and around the school.’

 

You would be joining a very supportive team and would receive good opportunities for professional development. The staff and governors are committed to our vision of excellence for all.

 

Duties include:

·         Maintaining and repairing the school premises.

·         Undertaking project work to enhance the school site in consultation with the Premises Manager.

·         Covering for premises staff when absent due to holiday or sickness so that the shift system works well.

·         Line managing cleaning staff when the Premises Manager is not on site.

·         Ensuring that the school buildings and grounds are in operational readiness on a daily basis throughout the year.
