St James the Great Roman Catholic Primary and Nursery School, part of the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, compassionate and committed Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team from September 2026.
We are recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistant positions to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Candidates are welcome to indicate within their application any preferred phase/key stage and outline any relevant experience working within particular age ranges.
These roles will involve supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs, including children with SEND and pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis, with pairs of pupils, or within small groups of high-needs learners across the school.
We are seeking individuals with high expectations for all pupils and a genuine commitment to inclusive practice. Successful candidates will play an important role in helping children flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a nurturing Catholic environment.
